Do I need an account to bid?
Yes. You must create a free bidding account on hibid.com before placing bids.

Is there a buyer’s premium?
Most auctions include a buyer’s premium. If applicable, the percentage will be listed in the auction terms and conditions.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Accepted payment methods are listed in each auction’s terms and conditions.

When is payment due?
Payment deadlines are stated in the auction terms. Items must be paid for before pickup or shipping.

When and where do I pick up my items?
Pickup dates, times, and location are listed in the auction terms and on your invoice.

Do you offer shipping?
Shipping availability varies by auction and item type. Shipping details are listed in the auction terms.

What happens if I don’t pick up my items?
Failure to pick up items during the scheduled pickup times may result in forfeiture of items and/or additional fees.

Are items new or used?
Both. We sell used, vintage, or estate merchandise unless otherwise stated. All items are sold as-is, where-is.

Can I inspect items before bidding?
Yes. Preview is always welcome and can be scheduled by calling us.

Can I retract a bid?
No. All bids are binding and cannot be retracted.

How do I start selling with you?
Email photos of your items to info@newlife-auctions.com for review. See our page for how to sell with us for more details.

Do you charge commission?
Yes. We charge a commission percentage on all items sold.

Who decides how my items are grouped or sold?
Our staff determines whether items are sold individually or grouped together to achieve the best results.

If you have specific requests we will do our best to honor those.

Do you offer pickup of items?
Yes. Pickup service is available for a fee. Charges vary by location.

When do I get paid?
Checks are typically issued within two weeks after your items sell.

What if my items don’t sell?
Items may be run in up to two auctions. After that, you may retrieve them and keep them or donate them.

Do you set reserves or minimum bids?
Occassionally, higher value items will have a reserve bid. It will be indicated in red on the item listing.

Are my items insured?
While items are handled with care, sellers are responsible for maintaining their own insurance coverage.
